Dataset

Synthetic ingestion source, clean

Five invented records in the shape the OpenDeco dataset parser reads. The file exercises the parser boundary and all fifteen quality gates of spec 113, and it passes every one of them.

CautionSynthetic fixture

Every value in this file was invented to test the parser and the gates. No exposure, subject, profile, gas mix or outcome here is taken from a real dive, study, publication, table or device.

Overview

The file declares its own units and its own outcome vocabulary, then gives five rows. Four subject labels appear across those rows, and the last two rows form a repetitive pair separated by a surface interval of 60 minutes.

The gate suite reports pass over five records. That result says the fifteen automated checks of spec 113 found nothing. It says nothing about scientific value, because the rows were invented.

Source and citation

The file carries no source URL, no accession reference, no licence of its own, no citation and no retrieval date, because nothing here can be cited. The synthetic label appears in the filename, in the file's own label field and in the directory README, and a test asserts all three.

Population and exposures

Five rows describe square profiles between 12 and 30 msw as recorded, with bottom times between 20 and 40 minutes. The parser converts each of those to absolute pascals and seconds through the conversion the file names.

Outcomes

Outcome codes come from a vocabulary the file declares for itself. Four rows carry the code 0 and one carries marg. A clinical decompression-sickness outcome, a venous-gas-embolus grade, a self-reported symptom and an exposure with no recorded outcome answer different questions, and OpenDeco keeps those classes apart.

Variables and units

Nothing in the file is in canonical units. The declaration block uses the bare names depth, pressure, time and temperature that ADR-0007 forbids in canonical schemas, which is exactly where those names are allowed to live. The parser converts once, at ingestion, and nothing downstream sees a source unit.

Missingness

One of the five rows omits its gas declaration. The parser records that omission against the field it belongs to instead of filling in a default, and the missing required fields gate reports the omission as information about the source.

Access and licence

The file is part of this repository and carries its Apache-2.0 licence. That licence covers an invented test file. It confers nothing over any real decompression dataset.

Model-development history

Does not exist for this source

No model was developed or calibrated on this file, and the leakage registry holds no relationship pointing at it.

OpenDeco normalization

One normalisation run converts the eight source fields listed above into canonical records, then hashes the result. The digest below identifies that normalised version and is reproducible from the committed file.

Quality flags

All fifteen gates pass over five records, with no finding at any severity. The report also states what it does not cover: licence resolution, rights review and adjudication status are separate preconditions recorded on the dataset version.
