Catalogue state

OpenDeco holds no human decompression dataset. The catalogue lists three synthetic fixtures written in this repository, and one acquisition candidate that has not been located, requested or received. The fixtures exercise the ingestion parser, the quality gates and the adapter path. Every number below describes a generated file.

OpenDeco records where a dataset came from, what was measured, who or what was exposed, how outcomes were defined, what is missing, how access is controlled and whether the data were used to build or calibrate models in the registry.

Where the file came from, who holds it, when it was retrieved and the hash of what arrived.

Population

Who or what was exposed, how many exposures the file carries and over what period.

Outcome

How the source defined an outcome, which vocabulary it used and what was left undetermined.

Access

The licence, the redistribution status and the conditions attached to reuse.

Model-development history

Whether a model in the registry was built or calibrated on this data, and how strong the evidence for that is.

DCS, VGE and exposure-only data are not interchangeable

A clinical decompression-sickness outcome, a venous-gas-embolus grade, a self-reported symptom and an exposure with no recorded outcome answer different questions. OpenDeco keeps those outcome classes separate in both the data model and the interface.

Access, licensing and redistribution

A public metadata page does not imply that OpenDeco owns or can redistribute the underlying data. Access status is shown prominently, and restricted data are never republished because they are scientifically useful.

Normalization without erasing provenance

OpenDeco converts heterogeneous pressure, time, gas and outcome records into canonical schemas for analysis while preserving the original source identity, transformation history and uncertainty introduced by normalization.
